Horus Fetch Setup

Install the Mac app, load the Chrome extension, and run one test download.

1. Open the Mac app

  1. Move Horus Fetch.app to Applications.
  2. Open Horus Fetch and keep it open while setting up Chrome.
  3. If macOS asks for permission, approve only the prompts you understand and need.

2. Load the Chrome extension

  1. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.
  2. Turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click Load unpacked.
  4. Select the Horus Fetch extension folder from your release package.

3. Pair and test

  1. Click the Horus Fetch extension icon while the Mac app is open.
  2. Open a normal downloadable video page.
  3. Move the pointer over the video and click Download.
  4. Confirm that the task appears in Horus Fetch.

Legal note

Horus Fetch is for content you are allowed to access and store. Do not use it for DRM-protected services or content you do not have permission to download.
